#hiholoves... Esther in Wales

For our second #hiholoves Wednesday, we would like to introduce you to a wonderful lady, Ester, also known as Esther in Wales. Before we waffle on anymore, we shall pass you over to her and let her tell you a little more about herself.

Hello My name is Esther aka @estherinwales, let me tell you a bit about myself. 

First and foremost I’m a mother and a wife , I’ve been with Jules since I was 17 and I had our son Joseph at the young age of 18 . 

Over the years I’ve worked in retail, merchandizing and run my own waste management and house clearance business .

I was born in South Wales and that is where I still reside . 

I can never imagine living anywhere else ! We are surrounded by Mountains , Forestry and some of the most beautiful coastlines in the world . 

In my spare time I like walking , hiking , mountain biking and birdwatching. 

If you follow me on social media you will know that whilst doing these activities I always have my loyal and trusted dog Alice by my side .

She’s best known for being a serial photobomber in the majority of my Instagram posts ,which I find very amusing.

I also have a homebred traditional cob called Morgan. 

He’s also been a trusted loyal companion of mine for the last 14 years,

we did a lot of showing together for many years, competing at the Royal Welsh Show and many other local showing events. 

My one piece of advice for posting on Social Media is BE YOURSELF !

I started my Instagram account around three and a half years ago, simply because I found it the best platform for sharing outfit posts.

I purchased a pair of Fairfax and Favor Regina boots and wanted to share my ideas of how to style them. In doing so I was given the opportunity to become one of their influencers 

which was a dream come true! It has been an absolute privilege watching such an amazing brand grow over the last few years.

You don’t need any fancy gadgets, all of my photos are taken on my Iphone by my husband Jules! sometimes being a typical bloke he can be a little reluctant, but with a bit of gentle persuasion he gets the job done.

I have been working with Hartwell for some time now as part of their social media strategist team, this has led to me acquiring a vast collection of their shirts.

They also have some trousers, jackets,dresses and tops in their growing collection.

There are a lot of exciting new items due for release in the autumn/winter (watch this space.) 

What I love about their fitted Layla shirts is that they are 100% cotton, exceptionally comfortable and have a luxurious Satin finish . 

The shirt also features some hidden modesty buttons around the bust area to stop gaping. 

There’s plenty of different patterns to choose from, such as equestrian, shooting, floral patterns and even a safari print, there’s something for everyone . 

They also do a loose fit shirt called The Lydia ,which is very flattering and ideal for everyday wear. 

Monika is the designer at Hartwell,  it’s nice to have a lady who understands that women come in all shapes and sizes, which shows in the collection.

Hartwell have listened to their customer feedback and are introducing the added benefit of stretch into their fitted shirts, which is ideal for outdoor pursuits .

My personal Favourite  addition to the new collection is the Marcia Tweed look skinny trousers. They are lightweight and are a non-crease fabric, which makes them very comfortable and they look absolutely amazing on! There is a skirt version due for release in the Autumn which I can’t wait to see.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank Emma for asking me to write this blog. 

I kind of fell out of love with Jewellery, but when I discovered Hiho I fell back in love with it all over again. 

I have also made some amazing friends after attending my first Hiho event at Forde Abbey back In November. 

So if your sitting on the fence about attending one of these events , then I urge you to do so.

You will be made to feel most welcome and there’s plenty of Cake!
