Have you heard that we’re Friends of Joules?

We’re very excited to share that we’re Friends of Joules… we’ve always been friends, but it’s a bit more official now!

So, just to go back in time, our King of the Road knows Joules’ founder, Tom Joule, really well. In fact, they started on the shows together quite a few years ago. In addition to knowing Tom, the whole Hiho team love Joules’ designs and have bought and wear lots of their pieces each day.

Fast forward to 2019, Joules’ 30^th birthday year (and our 25^th, so it’s a special year!) and Joules came to us to talk about a new idea – Friends of Joules. This online marketplace brings together handpicked brands that the Joules team felt their customers and audience would like. From candles to Christmas puddings, stationery to crockery and everything else in between, the Joules team have selected some absolutely gorgeous pieces for people to peruse on their website.

And did we mention that Hiho is a friend too?

Friends of Joules launched at this year’s Land Rover Burghley Horse Trials with a special stand dedicated to friends. 

We’ve been excited about the concept since we first heard about it, and with so many of our customers wearing Joules, we felt that it was a marriage made in online heaven, and we haven’t been disappointed. If you pop over to Joules’ website, there’s a Friends of Joules option at the top, and that will allow you to explore all the friends, but you’ll also find relevant products in the main menu.

To celebrate the launch of Friends of Joules and Joules’ 30^th birthday, we invited Tom Joule to come and judge the best dressed at the First Horse Inspection with us. Alongside our Queen Bee, Emma Warren, Tom helped judge the best dressed lady and gent… and the eagle eyed amongst you will have no doubt spotted one of the male riders wearing a Joules tailored suit. Obviously Ben (Hobday) couldn’t win as he was wearing a suit designed by Joules, but we thought he looked seriously dapper!
