All About Jess

This week’s cosy autumnal eats is a decadent yet incredibly easy Tarte Tatin! It sounds quite scary and intimidating, but it couldn’t be simpler to pull together. Simple ingredients, an easy method and a great way to celebrate the season by using up any apples you might have in the garden! Jess, tell us a bit about yourself - what do you do, where are you from, what you're up to online - what makes you tick! 

My name is Jess! From @life_on_the_buckle, I’m a Mum, Wife and I have a corporate career working for a bank whilst balancing owning two horses! I have a IG account where I document my hectic life, share the high, lows and everything in between. 
I’m from Bedfordshire where I live with my Husband, Keith and my son Terry. Three things that make me tick really - making sure Terry & Keith are happy. That I’m successful in my career and I’m enjoying riding my horses. 
 
What do you do in your spare time & what you get up to offline?   

Horses ~ whenever I can, I will always try and steal some time with Jimmy and Siddy (my two horses). They are my escape from work, where I can really decompress and enjoy living in the moment.  I also love to have quality family time, nothing brings me more joy that watching Terry, enjoy experiences. 
 
What is your ultimate HihoLove (favourite piece from Hiho!) and why?   

It has to be the Cherry Roller necklace, you won’t see me without. It’s a beautiful timeless classic. It dresses up any outfit with a nod to horses! 
 
And finally... What is the best piece of content-creation advice you have received?  

Say yes to more things! it’s the best way to grow, to become more confident and make the most of your career. Even when you are nervous and don’t want to step out of your comfort zone, you must.  Growth will come with saying yes to more things.
