All about Eden

Have you remembered to change your clocks back today?  With daylight saving coming to an end, we’re embracing the long dark nights with our favourite comforting foods. This week we’re sharing a firm favourite from Hiho HQ with you – a warm, Sticky & Sweet Toffee Pudding - there’s nothing better at the end of a long day!

Eden, tell us a bit about yourself - what do you do, where are you from, what you're up to online - what makes you tick! 

I’m based in the Northern Pennines and day to day I am a full time mum but I do help with our family engineering business mainly doing HR work. 
 
Heels Down and Kick On follows both myself and my daughter and what we get up too with our horses, we currently have … a ex show jumper who is now a newly turned veteran show and dressage horse Patrick, Dan Dan a very cheeky lead rein dartmoor and new to the pack is 3 year old Sansa who will be aimed at the British Young Event Horse classes next year. 
 
What do you do in your spare time & what you get up to offline?   

Spare time is a rarity in my life at the moment but when I do get the chance, I love nothing more than racking up Patrick and going for a mindless wonder. We also love attending shows as spectators, this year's highlights were The Royal Highland and Royal Windsor. 
 
What is your ultimate HihoLove (favourite piece from Hiho!) and why?   

Sterling Silver & 18ct Gold Plate Bumblebee Necklace. I purchased it with some money my late grandma gave me before she passed. She loved gardening and I love bees so I thought it fit perfectly. I’ve not taken it off since I purchased it and it’s a lovely constant reminder of her. 
 
And finally... What is the best piece of content-creation advice you have received?  
Love the horse first and the sport second.
