A heartfelt message from the Georgie Campbell Foundation

It's been over a year since we lost 5-star event rider Georgie Campbell at the Bicton International Horse Trials. To honour her love for horse riding, her family started the Georgie Campbell Foundation to improve cross-country safety and support young future eventers achieve their dreams.

We've partnered with Georgie's family to create a jewellery collection named after her beloved dog, Twig, to raise funds for the foundation. Every purchase from this collection helps the Georgie Campbell Foundation.

We deeply appreciate your support so today we share a heartfelt message from Jo Williams, Georgie's sister and foundation trustee.

A heartfelt thank you from all at the Georgie Campbell Foundation ????????

Our equestrian calendars have been action-packed lately, and while the anniversary of Georgie’s death certainly made May a challenging time, our hearts have been filled by the exceptional and extensive support the Foundation continues to receive.

Our fundraising activities at Badminton were incredibly well supported and we saw lots of you wearing items from the Twig Collection there, and then at The Royal Windsor Horse Show, Bicton International, and more… Whether you took home a piece of ‘Georgie jewellery’, purchased a raffle ticket, generously donated a prize, or connected with us in another way, we’re incredibly grateful for your unwavering kindness and support.

More recently, we were delighted to have been chosen as the supported charity of the inaugural running of Scone Palace International Horse Trials where course walks to fundraise for the Foundation were put on in the stunning grounds of Scone Palace and Perth Racecourse.

Across the country this summer, we’ve also been overwhelmed by how people have independently raised money for the Foundation in a myriad of ways – from golf tournaments to second-hand tack sales, MMA fights to a hunter trials horse swap! (All of which you can read more about to get inspired here.)

Looking ahead to autumn with the countdown to Defender Burghley well and truly underway, we have some news we want you to be the first to hear…

Following your fantastic feedback on our pathfinder ‘Twig’ collection, we are excited to announce that three new jewellery pieces will launch at the Horse Trials next month!

A complete 18ct gold Vermeil Twig necklace and bracelet, along with silver Twig earrings.

So, if you’re heading to Burghley, be sure to visit Hiho at stand A7 to catch an early glimpse of the growing collection, which has been carefully crafted in remembrance of Georgie. Dare we say it, but they also make perfect Christmas gifts!

On behalf of everyone here at the Georgie Campbell Foundation, thank you. Together, we are raising vital funds to champion the safe and sustainable future of eventing, while continuing to nurture the community’s amazing spirit that held an incredibly special place in Georgie's heart.
