The eventing community was deeply saddened to lose 5-star event rider Georgie Campbell last May in a heartbreaking accident at the Bicton International Horse Trials. To honour Georgie's legacy and love for horse riding, her family is establishing a foundation. Their goal is to help aspiring young eventers to “fulfil their dreams” by providing support in establishing their own eventing businesses.
Twig, Georgie’s beloved Patterdale cross had been by her side for many years. As he aged Georgie had begun to fear his eventual passing and started planning a twig tattoo in the image of a small branch, rather than the dog’s likeness, so that she’d never be without her Twig.
At Hiho, we feel a profound connection to this cause and have joined hands with Georgie's family to create a Jewellery collection to raise funds for the Georgie Campbell foundation. Inspired by Georgie's beloved terrier, named Twig, our Master craftsman meticulously replicated a twig from a Hornbeam tree at Georgie's home. The result is a superb sterling silver necklace with a robust chain and a secure lobster clasp, as well as matching cufflinks.
Proceeds from the sale of this exquisitely beautiful and meaningful range of jewellery will go to the Georgie Campbell foundation which the family have set up in her honour. The foundation aims to support up and coming riders with the support to establish there own eventing buisness and also to keep Georgie's memory alive. You can follow them on instagram at instagram.com/georgiecampbellfoundation/For every necklace sold, we shall donate £36 to the Georgie Campbell Foundation.
