At Hiho we take caring for our world seriously, and we pride ourselves on making environmentally friendly decisions. 

Packaging

All our gift wrap uses fully recyclable paper, 100% recyclable boxes and eco ribbon made from wood pulp and recycled plastic bottles. You can even keep hold of the boxes and turn them into jewellery boxes to keep your new purchases or presents safe from scratches!

Not only do we send out all our jewellery in recyclable packaging but we are just as recycle keen when things get sent to us, we aim to recycle wherever possible when we are the ones to receive products and parcels!

Sustainable Sources

From our product sources through to the soap we use in the office, we try our very best to make sustainable choices.

All our artisan suppliers use recycled silver to bring our designs to life, and all plated jewellery, from both our UK and overseas suppliers, is produced in conjunction with The Alliance for Responsible Mining (ARM) guidelines, ‘a global initiative which aims to transform artisanal and small-scale lamination into a socially and environmentally responsible activity that improves the quality of life of artisanal miners and their environment’. 

On a much smaller scale, the office is run on sustainably sourced water from Hiho HQ’s bore hole and even the soap is organic and refillable!

People

People are just as important as jewellery at Hiho, from our artisan suppliers to our very own Hiho HQ team, all the way through to you, our wonderful customers, we do our very best to make sure everyone feels cared for, supported and listened to. Several of our staff members (and customers!) have been with us for over fifteen years, so we like to think we are fulfilling our aim of caring for our community!
