Hannah Francis was a wonderful and inspirational young rider who, at 17 years of age, had to put her dreams of a career as an event rider on hold following the diagnosis of an aggressive form of bone cancer called Osteosarcoma in 2015. She documented her journey on social media with the support of her well-loved mascot Willberry Wonder Pony, and at the same time ticking lots of exciting wishes off her bucket list. The Eventing Community rallied round and supported her fund-raising efforts and we were astounded and inspired by the achievements of this brave young lady. Willberry proved to be a real hit on social media and Hannah set out to turn her mascot into a global force for #kickingcancersbutt and, in so doing, raise money towards bone cancer research and "Willberry's Wishes". This was formalised by the establishment of the Willberry Wonder Pony Charity in 2016. Sadly Hannah passed away in August 2016, but her legacy lives on through the Charity and the many fund-raising activities she inspired.
This new addition to the Willberry Wonder Pony Collection was designed by us and has been approved by Hannah’s family. Made in sterling silver, the bead has Hannah's saying on it, that she came up with and we have been given special permission to use this. So engraved onto the sterling silver bead we have 'Dream Big, Fight Hard, Never Give Up' and between each set of words we have a single heart which has been oxidised to make it stand out even more. The beads can be added to a cherry roller bangle or added onto our foxtail bracelets, fox plait leather bracelets or why not pop onto a silver chain and wear as a necklace. Don't forget to take a look at the other willberry pieces available in the collection.
For each roller bead that is sold at £25 each, you enable us to donate £10 to Hannah’s Willberry Wonder Pony Charity – thank you. So far we have raised £22,250 for the charity and we thank you so much for helping us achieve this.
disappointed
bought to give as gift for someone the words would be important to but as you can't see any of the words on the charm it defeats the object
