About Hannah's Willberry Wonder Pony

Hannah's Willberry Wonder Pony was created on the 29th of March 2016, by the wonderful Hannah Francis and her family.

Hannah was a young aspiring event rider, who very sadly in 2015, at the age of 17 was diagnosed with a form of terminal bone cancer called Osteosarcoma. To help support her through the long days and nights in hospital a friend of Hannah's gave her a characterful toy pony, and he was named Willberry Wonder Pony. Across Hannah's cancer journey Willberry became more than just a toy, he became Hannah's little mascot, friend and sign of hope - something he has now become to many since the creation of the charity in 2016..

Hannah and her family were shocked at the lack of research around her specific type of cancer and so they began their own charity to help raise vital funds to close the research gap.

But Hannah's Willberry Wonder Pony has gone on to do much more...

Now, the charity not only funds life saving cancer research, but also grants Willberry's Wishes to those who need them most, wishes of those who are also suffering from serious illness and have horsey dreams they wish to achieve.

Very sadly, Hannah passed away in the August of 2016, but her legacy continues to shine brighter each and every day through the amazing work of her Willberry Wonder Pony.
With an undeniable amount of support from the Equestrian Community and beyond, the charity continues to work tirelessly in their aim to help people #makememories and #kickcancersbutt.
