One of the things we’ve always loved most about Hiho is meeting you in person at shows up and down the country.
Those conversations on the stand about horses, dogs, work, family and the realities of country life have always been at the heart of what Hiho is. You inspire us, make us laugh, and even bring biscuits and cakes to power us through those busy show days! Over the years, through the show circuit and social media, something very special has grown: a genuine Hiho community.

Back in 2018, alongside some of our brand friends, we created our first Hiho & Co Day. It was a chance to properly bring our community together, champion the power of collaboration and enhance the ability to ‘Be all you can be’. We welcomed customers, photographers, influencers and friends of the brand to spend time together, learn from each other, share ideas and build their brand and personal brand skills.
The day was a huge success, and we went on to run several more wonderful events, including a memorable day with Olympic Gold Medallist Laura Collett! Since our last event in 2021 many of you have asked us when we might do another…

For the last few years our Emma has been quietly building Countrywoman’s Guide (CWG), a place where women living rural lives can share experiences, learn from each other and feel less alone in the juggle of work, business and life.
It’s become a bit like a virtual kitchen table, embracing the age-old tradition of learning through storytelling. A place where you can listen to honest conversations through the podcast, read thoughtful articles on a range of subjects centred around their three pillars of ‘Work, Life and You’, and connect with others walking a similar path.
Fast forward to now, and CWG has gone from strength to strength, and continues to carry many of the same values that sit at the heart of Hiho, collaboration, encouragement, storytelling and the belief that life and work should support each other, not compete with each other. With these shared values and Emma (our MD), Charlotte (our Marketing Manager) and Rachel (one of our amazing photographers) all now involved it feels like the natural place for our Hiho community to gather together between shows, and become aligned with CWG.
If you’ve ever listened to a podcast while driving the horsebox, walking the dogs, or grabbing a quiet moment with a cup of tea and thought ‘ ah it’s not just me!’ then you’re exactly who CWG is for.
Through our partnership we’ll also be sharing opportunities to meet in person again through future events, with CWG subscribers hearing first.
So, come and join us in the Countrywoman's Guide Community and stay connected with the conversations, stories and events that bring our Hiho community together between shows
You can find Countrywoman’s Guide over on Instagram, on Substack and wherever you listen to your podcasts - just search for “The Countrywoman’s Guide to Work, Life and You”.
Emma Warren is MD of Hiho Silver and is also just launching her own brand as Emma Warren - helping entrepreneurs to grow their businesses.
As you can imagine her days are busy, and although one day might see her designing jewellery with the Hiho team, working on sponsorships and collaborations, and higher level plotting and planning, the next day will see her working on photoshoots and packing orders with our office angels Michelle and Amanda at busy times.
Emma has a pretty impressive career and actually trained as and is a fully fledged accountant. She’s worked in engineering and manufacturing at director level, has launched and sold a number of businesses.
Nowadays, if you don’t find her working with the Hiho team, you’re likely to find her on her other business, Dimpsey, which provides luxury glamping experiences on her farm in the Blackdown Hills of Somerset - or doing the business development for Blackdown Shepherd Huts.
Charlotte first joined Hiho back in early 2024 when she undertook her university placement with us, fast forward to now and Charlotte has graduated university and come on board full time as Hiho's Marketing Manager.
Alongside managing our day to day marketing and social channels, she has also become part of the CWG team. Charlotte manages the CWG socials and even writes a few articles now and then.
Charlotte grew up in the Somerset countryside with horses, dogs, and Hiho woven into everyday life. Being the youngest member of Team Hiho & Team CWG, she brings some younger ideas and the ability to navigate technology (ish!) to the table!
Rachel Collins, from Rachel Collins Photography, is a Brand & Business photographer from the South West.
Having spent nearly 20 years in Sales & Management roles for 2 global sports giants, Rachel stepped away from a successful career to pursue her growing passion for photography and in the following 10 years honed her skills first in equine event photography and then as a horse & dog photographer. Today she sits firmly as a Brand photographer with an ever-expanding portfolio of clients – many from the rural business sector, which she thoroughly identifies with given her own background with horses and countryside life.
With an eye for the details her photography style is often described as reportage storytelling, highlighting the little moments or smaller stories. Rachel has always enjoyed flatlay photography, and not just taking the images herself, but encouraging others too. Not only does this method produce outstanding results but it also leads nicely into another skill Rachel is keen to share, and that’s batch content creation.
If what’s holding you back is a little bit of nervousness about coming along to an event on your own and not knowing anyone, we’d like to reassure you that we’ve all been there! Countrywoman's Guide is all about supporting each other and everyone goes out of their way to welcome new people and make them feel included and people have made new friendships and found a community that they belong to by coming along to their events.
If you’re still not sure, please do feel free to message me and ask any other questions.
Don’t end up kicking yourself afterwards because you wish you had been a bit braver and pressed the button.
