Badminton Style, the Hiho Way
Are you heading to Badminton this year?
Need a little help with your outfit planning?

We're here to help!
We spoke to three of our wonderful Hiho customers (and regular Badminton goers)
to discover their three top tips for the ultimate Badminton outfit.

Take a look below, and begin planning yours.

We can't wait to see you there in a few weeks time!

Ginny's Top Tips

Ginny is a long standing Hiho customer and advocate of curvy country style.
1. Layer your outfits...☀️☔️
The weather at Badminton isn’t always the most predictable, you can have glorious sunshine to biblical downpours, so keep an eye on the weather! I opt for my base outfit with a jumper or gilet on top which I can always take off if the weather brightens. I always carry a Mac in a Sac or Brolly with me just in case!

2. Comfy shoes...🥾
There can be A LOT of walking, especially on cross country day. Whether you’re a deck shoes, wellies, heels or trainers fan, comfy is key! I tend to opt for deck shoes or trainers which are perfect for stomping round the cross country course or meandering around the shopping village. Hats off to those who can spend the day in heels!

3. Wear what makes you feel great...💜
From jeans and a nice top to flowy dresses and full tweed suits you will see it all at Badminton. The days can be long and jam packed so feeling great in what you’re wearing really is a must 🫶
You can follow Ginny here on Instagram, and for curvy country outfit find her at Country Curvy Style

Lucinda's Top Tips

Lucinda is the wonderful face behind the country fashion and lifestyle blog Country Classic Lucinda, featuring daily country outfit inspiration.
1. Plan your outfit around your day... 🌲
My biggest tip for Badminton is to always go and walk the XC course if you can - it is so worth it. So making sure your outfits can keep up with everything you have planned is vital. There is so much going on across the week, I recommend having a think about what you'll be getting up to and plan your outfit around it.

2. It's all about layers... 🧥
Everyone knows the British weather can be unpredictable and with Badminton falling at the beginning of May there's still a chance of spring showers one minute and scorching sunshine the next. Your outfit needs to be comfy no matter what the skies throw at you, and layers are the perfect way to make sure you all stay comfortable all day!

3. Don't forget your Hiho! ✨
No outfit is complete without some Hiho finishing touches!
The Cherry Roller Collection is my personal favourite for any horsey event!

Hollie's Top Tips

Hollie has been part of the Hiho family for many years, through her role as a gamekeeper she knows just what an outfit needs to be practical in the country.
1. Dress for you... 💕
I am a firm believer in wearing what you want, for you. Not to impress other people. You're there to enjoy yourself, so start with your outfit! Pick one that makes your heart happy.

2. Think practical...👚
Being practical in your Badminton outfit planning is key. Try to opt for well worn shoes
and choose clothes you can comfortably wear all day.

3. Check the weather...🌦️
Before you make your way to Badminton make sure to check the weather and alter your outfit accordingly. Pack your sunglasses, a waterproof jacket and an umbrella.
It's a trio that won't let you down!
You can find Hollie here on Instagram.
