Cheltenham Races - The Festival

Tuesday 13th March 2018 - Friday 16th March 2018

Hiho has been exhibiting at Cheltenham Festival for 20 years. Come and see us in the shopping village, next to the Champagne Bar. The atmosphere at the Festival is electric (the atmosphere on the stand is pretty good too!) Meeting up with many old customers and friends as well as enticing in new customers, and showing off our new designs, keeps up on our toes and out of the bookies!

We sponsor the Best Turned Out horse for each race at the Festival, as indeed we do for every race at every Cheltenham meeting throughout the season. It is well worth making effort as the winning groom wins a £50 voucher to be spend at Hiho.

Nevermind Best Turned out for the horses.. what about the humans? Don your glad rags and jump into the Festival racing fashion zone. Some may say that seasoned race goers dress pretty similarly, but time and experience has shown that there is good reason for this and thus a practical, warm and comfortable “uniform” has developed over the years. Tweed is de rigeur (no shortage of options there ( add in examples?) ) , as are warm and comfortable boots (think Fairfax and Favor and Dubarry ) . Cheltenham is known for being about 5 degrees colder than everywhere else in the country, so hats are not only great fun fashion statements but essential for warmth (visit McKenzie and George or … to name but a few).  Accessorise hats, coat and jacket lapels and even handbags with feathers, brooches and fur to create individuality. Finally for those being entertained in a box or corporate hospitality, beautiful jewellery is a must..hmmm whose jewellery shall we recommend you wear?!

What Cheltenham says…“The highlight of the Jump season with an atmosphere that will make the hairs on the back of your neck stand up. The Festival™ epitomises and encompasses everything that is great about Jump racing, whilst delivering an unbelievable occasion as the finest horses, jockeys, owners and trainers battle it out for the highest racing honours, their reputations and over £4.5 million of prize money. Join the party, as just over 260,000 people pass through the gates over the four days.”

We look forward to seeing you at Hiho!
