Thursday 14th - Sunday 17th September 2017
The Nationals at Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire is a particularly spectator friendly event where you can really get close to all the action thanks to the compact layout and access all areas format. As well as four days of hot competition, we also have plenty of things going on to entertain you.
With this being an Olympic year, there’s a lot of buzz around dressage and this show guarantees a feast of sport for both knowledgeable fans and newcomers alike. Championship titles from Prelim to Grand Prix are there for the taking, including the crowning of the LeMieux National Dressage Champion, last year won by dressage legend, Charlotte Dujardin, and the lovely Barolo.
Amongst the competition, dressage legend Kyra Kyrklund is your host for this year’s master class, supported by Royal Equestrian. Kyra is one of dressage’s all-time greats. Her riding and training career has kept her at the top of world-class dressage for many years. In her native Finland, she has been National Dressage Champion ten times; she has taken part in six successive Olympic Games, won a silver medal at the World Equestrian Games in 1990, and won the FEI World Cup Final in 1991 with the great stallion, Matador.
A visit to the Nationals is never complete without a visit to the fantastic shopping village. There will be over 80 equestrian and lifestyle retailers on-site during the show. You can take advantage of some of the great show day prices whether you're after a few essentials or a special item. With so many fantastic dressage specialists in one place you’ll be spoilt for choice.
The spectator-friendly layout of the show means you can get up close to watch your favourite horses and riders and, when you fancy a break, there’s a tempting choice of food outlets and an even more tempting shopping village! And, for a touch of luxury, why not treat yourself to a ticket for the Nationals Pavilion. This popular ringside pavilion is the perfect place to spend time and eat with your friends and family, whilst not missing a minute of the action.
After a full day soaking up the atmosphere of the show, what better way to let your hair down than joining one of the nationals parties, where everyone is welcome – the LeMieux Welcome Party on Friday night and the Show Party on Saturday night. Entrance to these renowned get-togethers is free with your showground admission ticket.
Entry to the showground is by entrance ticket only. Once you have purchased your entrance ticket you can then choose whether to make use of the free uncovered ringside seating or upgrade your experience with a place in the Nationals Pavilion or by taking a Covered Grandstand Seat sitting behind the judges in the LeMieux Arena at 'C'.
If you are looking for the ultimate luxury experience at The Nationals, hospitality boxes are available for individual days or for the entire show. Please contact Maggie Jackman for details on 01608 676180.
