The horses all went very well last weekend at Tweseldown, which I was really pleased with. Zippy competed in the open novice which was his first event this season. He got off to a great start with a 31 dressage and then a double clear, which I was over the moon with. I clocked up a few time penalties because I just wanted him to have a confident start, so I didnt race for the time. Charlie competed in the BE90 which was his first ever event, and he did a 32 dressage , clear show jumping and then was going fab around the cross country until the water which he really didnt want to go into... So it resulted in elimination which was very annoying! We're going to take him cross country schooling several times this week to get him confidently going through water, then hopefully he will be all good for Aldon this weekend!
Fingers crossed they all behave this weekend, and that we manage to get Charlie into the water!
